Over the past weekend the largest name in bass music returned to San Francisco for an unforgettable experience. Excision brought all the bells and whistles, and lasers, for two massive nights at San Francisco’s premier music venue. His Evolution tour consisted of a packed line up for the nights of December 10th and 11th. This is the first time he has performed at Bill Graham since his 2019 Apex Tour. For his return he made sure to make it an event worth the wait.

Excision was not the only bass music giant on the line up this past weekend. The DJ brought some of the heaviest hitters in the bass music industry. Each night consisted of 6 one hour sets that rocked the house. Night one begun with DJ duo High Im Ghost for their first time on tour with Excision. The first night included big name artist such as Ray Volpe and rising star Lucii. That night also included the young super star, and good friend of Excision’s, Dion Timmer. We have seen Dion Timmer perform alongside him at events in the past such as Lost Lands in 2018. Dion Timmer and Excision also collaborated together for their 2019 EP “Breaking Through”. ATLiens was the last act to light up the crowd before the legend took stage himself.

After an electric first night of The Evolution Tour in San Francisco, he came back to bring the heat for a second and final night. Night two consisted of another up and coming star, Benda, who proved during his set that he was a force to be reckoned with. Before Excision took stage artist Must Die shocked the crowd with a heavy house and hard techno set. As pictured above big time bass music artist Kai Wachi took the stage for his hour long set. Recently coming off of his debut Muscleville Tour, Wachi showcased his versatility with hard bass, surprise house music influences, and everything in-between. The last artist to perform before Excsion closed out was Barely Alive where fans saw the iconic angry box headed DJ give fans some of the heavy bass music they came for.
