Freshly signed Rose Avenue Records and RÜFÜS DU SOL protégé, Paraleven, gives fans a taste of what’s to come off his highly anticipated debut album Apollo with single “Break Me Down (Ft. Fractures)”. For being relatively new in the industry Paraleven has not disappointed. He has quickly made a name for himself in the deep house and melodic house scene having been noticed by producer giant Lane 8 after his 2019 releases “Soloma” and “Ripples / Siphon” and was even brought on as direct support for the Lane 8 tour. It wasn’t long after when producer trio RÜFÜS DU SOL swooped in and recruited Paraleven into Rose Avenue Records where he joined the likes of Township Rebellion, Colyn, Cassian, and others that have all pushed the melodic house genre forward.
Anything associated with RÜFÜS has shown to be a force to be reckoned with, and Paraleven does not fall short of that. Having heard “Break Me Down” we are highly anticipating what he has in store for listeners. Right away in this song we are given a euphoric beat paired with the echo of those Fractures vocals that we love. Everything from the soft snares to the electric synthesizers in those 120 Beats Per Minute (BPM) offers a feeling of serenity, comfort, familiarity, and a glimpse of the direction that the future of house music is evolving into.
