As Zeds Dead gear up for their milestone 11th annual Deadrocks takeover at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 2 and 3, the duo is also bringing back a fan-favorite summer tradition: the 5th Annual Backyard Jamboree, set for July 4 at Denver’s Civic Center Park.
What began as a grassroots BBQ for fans has evolved into a 10,000-capacity, family-friendly festival rooted in community, music, and summertime celebration. Blending live performances, food vendors, local creators, and classic lawn games, the Jamboree has become a staple of Zeds Dead’s Colorado residency and a highlight on the Deadbeats summer calendar.
The 2025 Jamboree lineup features a diverse mix of established names and rising talent, including Ravenscoon, Cool Customer, Villager, Nikita, The Wicked, Skellytn, Don Jamal, Noises, Soki, Keenan Mathias, and Papajay.
This year’s event follows the release of Zeds Dead’s long-awaited second album, Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness—a psychedelic concept project accompanied by a 55-minute visual film and a sold-out national tour. With Deadrocks XI already at capacity before the lineup was even revealed, the Backyard Jamboree serves as the culminating celebration in a three-day Colorado takeover.

Fresh off a sold-out Mission Ballroom show and his 25-date Glass Orchid tour, Ravenscoon brings his explosive fusion of psychedelic bass, punk, and hip-hop to the Civic Center stage. He’s joined by Cool Customer, a fast-rising name on the Deadbeats label known for his glitch-hop meets bass sound, with major support from Zeds Dead, Subtronics, and Tape B.
The Jamboree is designed to reflect Zeds Dead’s vision of immersive, multi-day experiences—combining high-energy performances with heartfelt community connection. Past editions have featured multiple stages, fan activations, prize contests, and surprise guest appearances.
Zeds Dead continue to chart new territory with their second full-length album, Return To The Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness. The 14-track release dives deep into nostalgic sampling, freeform creativity, and audio-visual storytelling, earning praise as their most expansive work to date. With a companion visual film and a tour built around the record’s psychedelic narrative, the album sets the tone for 2025’s Deadrocks shows and the Jamboree’s celebratory close.
Tickets for the Backyard Jamboree are on sale now, and demand is expected to exceed previous years. Fans are encouraged to purchase early to guarantee entry.
