What started as a remix that hit number one on Beatport turned into something way bigger than I ever imagined. Over the past ten years, HEXAGON has grown into a global platform – not just a label but a movement, a family, and a launchpad for new talent. We’ve had the honor of working with legends like Major Lazer, Robbie Williams, MK, Jamiroquai, Galantis, Gucci Mane, and Felix Jaehn while helping shape the sound of a new generation. My “FORΞVΞR” album crossed a billion streams, and in 2020, I was named the most supported producer in the world on 1001Tracklists, built almost entirely on HEXAGON releases. That moment really said it all.
But as we celebrate ten years, it’s also time for a reset. We’re entering a new era where quality needs to win over quantity. ‘Freek Like Me‘ marks the start of HEXAGON 2.0 – a new chapter where every release is more intentional, more meaningful, and designed to truly connect with people, not just feed the algorithms. From a musical perspective, I’m going back to the essence — combining the classic house sounds I grew up with and futuristic sound design. I call it NeoNostalgia. Just like the early days of Future House – HOUSE is the FUTURE, and the FUTURE is HOUSE.
And beyond the music, my mission as an artist is to blur the line between the DJ and the crowd. I want to break the fourth wall and create a space where we’re all in it together.
