Showcasing her trailblazing approach, WHIPPED CREAM continues to push boundaries, crafting cinematic soundscapes that tell powerful stories, captivate listeners, and are primed for the big screen. Her ability to bring music to life in videos such as “The Dark” with Jasiah and Crimson Child has earned her a BOLD Award from CIMA (Canadian Independent Music Association), a premiere at the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF), and a feature at SXSW’s XR Experience Competition in Austin. We often find ourselves asking, in both good and bad times, ‘Is this really happening? Is this really my life?’ During that dark period, I had to find the blessings in my life and cling to them, trusting that everything was happening for a reason. Looking back now, I see how much life has transformed into what I had hoped for. While the lyrics and sounds often explore my love relationships, this project means so much more to me; it was created at a pivotal moment in my life. I want this project to symbolize risk-taking, resilience, and finding beauty in pain.”
