September 19th, 2024 – Renowned electronic music producer Jason Ross releases his highly-anticipated debut Monstercat EP, Divergence.

Showcasing his signature versatility, Divergence takes listeners on an emotional and sonic journey through various genres, blending hardstyle, trance, rocktronic, and melodic dubstep. The EP follows the success of his previous release, Convergence, featuring hits like “One More Day” with Blanke and Chandler Leighton, and “Wild Ones” with Nevve. With Divergence, Ross embarks on a period of personal and creative growth, merging fresh influences while staying true to his core sound. At its heart, Divergence celebrates resilience, evolution, and authenticity.

The EP kicks off with “Space Between,” where Olivver the Kid’s heartfelt vocals soar over shimmering synths, capturing the emotions of a past relationship. Building on earlier successes like “Wake Up” with Fairlane and “No Tomorrow” with Brandyn Burnette, the EP transitions into the title track “Divergence,” which shines with its melodic basslines and uplifting rhythms. The project concludes with “Last Time” featuring Linney, a high-energy house anthem primed for the club scene.

With Divergence, Jason Ross further cements his status as a boundary-pushing force in the electronic music world. His 2024 journey has seen him captivate audiences at major venues like the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and Rebel in Toronto. Forming a dynamic B2B duo with Audien, Ross has electrified crowds at festivals like Beyond Wonderland and Îlesoniq, showcasing his unparalleled stage presence.

Reflecting on the project, Jason Ross shared, “This EP is a continuation of Convergence, taking me through genres like hardstyle, trance, and melodic dubstep. Divergence is about stepping out of my comfort zone, drawing inspiration from new sounds while staying true to my artistic identity. It’s also a personal journey—embracing new people and experiences that shape who you are, yet holding on to your essence.”

Ross is currently on his Atlas Dimensions tour, having kicked off at Big Night Live in Boston and Blackbox Theater in Charlotte. He’ll be performing tomorrow, September 20th, at Sunbar in Tempe, with additional stops through December in cities like San Diego, Houston, Dallas, and Portland. Tickets are available here.
