Following the announcement of her long-awaited debut album Inferno, arriving March 5, 2026 via Monstercat, Iranian-born, Canadian-raised producer, writer, and vocalist Nostalgix returns with her most emotionally revealing release to date. Titled “Fall Apart,” the new single lands on all digital streaming platforms on Thursday, January 22, serving as the next chapter in the unfolding narrative of Inferno.
A striking departure from the high-octane, bass-driven confidence of her recent single “Holy,” “Fall Apart” strips things back to expose a quieter, more fragile emotional core. Built around lyrical storytelling, simmering tension, and a slow-burning release, the track captures a moment of inner confrontation where fear, self-protection, and personal growth intersect.
Known for her commanding bass-house sound and fearless stage presence, Nostalgix uses “Fall Apart” to widen both the sonic and emotional scope of Inferno. The single plays a pivotal role within the album’s arc, focusing on the courage required to soften defenses, lean into discomfort, and choose vulnerability over escape.
At its heart, “Fall Apart” reflects the deeper themes running through Inferno, especially the idea of rebirth through confrontation. As Nostalgix continues to evolve creatively, embracing darker visuals and more cinematic storytelling, the release highlights an artist fully in control of her voice, her narrative, and her emotional truth.
With Inferno, Nostalgix documents a full-circle transformation. What began as dorm-room experimentation and DIY creation has grown into a global career shaped on her own terms. “Fall Apart” captures the moment just before ignition, the decision to feel everything rather than run from it, making it one of the most defining statements in her catalogue to date.
The single arrives as Nostalgix prepares for the release of Inferno and her upcoming album tour, which will bring her intense, emotionally charged performances to audiences across North America and beyond throughout 2026.
Artist Quote
“I wrote ‘Fall Apart’ during a time when I was deeply afraid of opening up my heart again.I had built my walls so high that every instinct in me was screaming to run.Instead of letting fear win, I leaned into it. I went into the studio and poured everything I was trying to avoid into this record. The pain, the uncertainty, the parts of me that felt fragile.‘Fall Apart’ captures a pivotal moment in my journey: choosing different. Choosing vulnerability over self protection, choosing growth over comfort, and slowly finding my way back home to myself”
