MOODY GOOD UNVEILS “HUMID,” SECOND SINGLE FROM FORTHCOMING EP ON DEADBEATS

Following the release of his hard-hitting single “Grinding,” Moody Good returns with “Humid,” the second release from his upcoming EP via Deadbeats. Expanding on the sonic direction introduced earlier this year, “Humid” continues the rollout of his evolving SPEEEDBUMP audio-visual concept, pushing deeper into a dense and immersive soundscape. The track is set to release across all major streaming platforms on Wednesday, March 18.

“Humid” builds on the foundation laid by “Grinding,” offering a more intense and layered exploration of the SPEEEDBUMP universe. The track combines sharp vocal chops, swinging drum patterns, and heavy basslines to create a sound that feels both aggressive and highly controlled. It reflects Moody Good’s continued focus on detailed sound design while reinforcing his reputation for experimenting beyond conventional genre boundaries.

The release follows the momentum of “Grinding,” which has already crossed 50,000 streams across platforms. While the first single introduced listeners to the broader concept, “Humid” moves further into its sonic identity, highlighting the industrial textures and intricate production style that will define the full EP.

Over the past decade, Moody Good has established himself as a key figure in bass music. From his early work as part of the duo 16bit to notable productions like his remix of “Fall In Love,” as well as collaborations such as “Mad Ting” with Zeds Dead and “Move Ting” with Skrillex, his work has consistently pushed the boundaries of electronic sound design. His ability to balance technical precision with raw energy has influenced a wide range of artists within the genre.

Released through Deadbeats, “Humid” aligns with the label’s continued focus on forward-thinking electronic music. Founded by Zeds Dead, the imprint has become known for supporting artists who challenge conventional formats and build immersive creative worlds. As the label moves through its 2026 release schedule, Moody Good’s SPEEEDBUMP project stands out as a strong example of this direction.
