Eight-time GRAMMY-nominated producer and electronic music pioneer Kaskade expands the world of his deeply personal 2025 album undux with the release of undux (remixes), arriving February 27 via Arkade x Monstercat.
Originally conceived as one of the most vulnerable projects of his career, undux marked a deliberate return to album storytelling. Built around themes of connection, emotional honesty, and creative restraint, the project offered a more introspective side of Kaskade’s artistry. With undux (remixes), a new generation of global electronic producers reinterpret that foundation, reshaping its themes through distinct melodic and club-focused perspectives.
The five-track remix collection brings together an international lineup of artists:
“touch” (Disciples Remix)
“deeper” (Jerro Remix)
“started over” (Dave Summer Remix)
“unspoken” (Suray Sertin Remix)
“heart worth breaking” (The Halluci Nation Remix)
UK trio Disciples infuse “touch” with sleek, driving house energy, transforming the track into a dancefloor-ready anthem. Belgian melodic house producer Jerro reimagines “deeper” through expansive atmospheric builds and emotive textures. Rising tech-house artist Dave Summer reshapes “started over” into a peak-time club track, while Montreal-based producer Suray Sertin delivers a rhythmic and melodic reinterpretation of “unspoken.”
Closing the project, three-time Juno Award-winning duo The Halluci Nation present a powerful rework of “heart worth breaking.” Known for blending electronic, hip-hop, and Indigenous musical traditions, the duo brings a distinctive sonic identity to the remix, creating one of the most compelling reinterpretations on the release.
While undux leaned inward as a reflective listening experience, undux (remixes) opens the material back to the dancefloor. The project represents a full-circle moment that highlights Kaskade’s dual creative identity as both an introspective songwriter and a global club innovator.
Across a career spanning more than three decades, Kaskade has continually evolved alongside electronic music’s changing landscape. From pioneering the Las Vegas residency model to performing at global cultural events such as Coachella, Formula 1, and the Super Bowl, he has consistently shaped the direction of modern dance music. With undux (remixes), Kaskade reinforces a long-standing creative philosophy that strong songwriting can extend beyond a single format and continue to evolve through reinterpretation.
undux (remixes) will be available on all major streaming platforms beginning February 27.
About Kaskade
Kaskade, born Ryan Raddon, is widely recognized as one of the most influential artists in electronic music. An eight-time GRAMMY Award nominee, he has earned international acclaim for his solo work as well as collaborations such as Kx5, his project with fellow producer deadmau5.
In February 2024, Kaskade made history as the first-ever in-game DJ at the Super Bowl, performing for an audience of more than 123.4 million viewers according to Nielsen Media Research. Later that year he was named Best Male Artist of the Year at the iHeartRadio EDM Awards, while Kx5 received the award for Best New Group.
Kaskade has also become a prominent figure in the intersection of electronic music and sports entertainment. In May 2024 he became the first starting grid DJ at a Formula 1 race during the Miami Grand Prix. Throughout the year he performed at major events including the X Games in Ventura, California, a post-Philadelphia Phillies game performance, and a LIV Golf tournament.
His presence on global stages has remained consistent. Kaskade made surprise appearances at Coachella alongside John Summit and Alison Wonderland in 2024 and completed a three-hour back-to-back set with Idris Elba in 2025. In October 2024 he delivered a landmark performance in New York City’s Central Park.
Earlier milestones include Kaskade and deadmau5 appearing on the cover of Billboard in 2023 and headlining SXSW. Their historic show at the LA Memorial Coliseum in 2022 set the record for the largest single-day concert headlined by an electronic artist in North America, according to Pollstar. Billboard also recognized the event as the biggest ticketed global dance headliner show of the year.
Known for his ability to transcend genres, Kaskade has collaborated with artists including Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, and Meghan Trainor. His continued evolution and influence have cemented his reputation as one of the defining figures in modern dance music.
