GRiZ AND TAPE B UNVEIL EXPLOSIVE NEW SINGLE“LIGHT YOU UP” FEATURING CREG

GRiZ continues the momentum of his monumental 2025 comeback with the release of “Light You Up,” an electrifying collaboration with breakout bass producer Tape B and rising vocalist CREG. The single arrives Friday, November 14, following months of anticipation across the bass community.

“Light You Up” first captured fan attention during Tape B’s sold out Red Rocks headline debut in October, where the track sparked massive crowd reactions. It was later amplified during an unexpected on-stage B2B moment with GRiZ at his Seven Stars Festival, which drew more than twenty two thousand attendees. Since then, the track has circulated as one of the most talked-about IDs of the year, blending euphoric melodies, gritty low-end power, hypnotic vocal work, and festival-scale sound design.

The single marks the debut of CREG, a mysterious new vocalist whose commanding performance immediately caught the ear of both GRiZ and Tape B. Beyond this release, CREG has upcoming collaborations with San Pacho and Matroda, Mersiv, and Nikita The Wicked, signaling a rapid rise for the emerging artist.

For GRiZ, 2025 has been a defining return. His surprise Gemini EP, the Wooli collaboration “Chaos Theory,” and the melodic crossover success “Deep Clear Water” with GRYFFIN have all contributed to a renewed creative wave. These releases set the tone for his sold out arena shows in Chicago and the Bay Area, as well as the revival of his Seven Stars Festival. With new music and major collaborations ahead, GRiZ continues expanding the scope of his artistry with unmatched ambition.

Tape B has simultaneously solidified his status as one of North America’s fastest ascending bass talents. The Florida-born producer is known for a unique blend of nostalgic sound design, viral flips, and high energy festival anthems. His national bus tour has sold out across the country, including a near-instant sellout of his Red Rocks headline debut. Recent collaborations have included John Summit, Juicy J, Subtronics, and Ganja White Night, cementing his place as a major player in the genre.

With “Light You Up,” Tape B adds GRiZ to that growing list of collaborators while introducing the world to CREG, whose presence marks a fresh emotional edge within bass music. Together, the trio deliver a striking new single that sets the tone for an even bigger year ahead.

MORE ON GRiZ

For GRiZ, funk is more than a genre. It is a mindset rooted in joy, freedom, and good vibrations. The North Detroit raised producer has carved out a signature lane in modern bass culture defined by sax driven productions, soulful energy, and unforgettable live performances.
