Continuing his powerful 2025 comeback, GRiZ teams up with UK grime powerhouse Flowdan on a high-voltage new single, “Coast 2 Coast,” out July 18. This dynamic release follows his recent surprise GEMiNI EP and collabs like “Chaos Theory” with Wooli, and builds anticipation for his sold-out return to the stage this fall at Seven Stars Festival and arena shows in Chicago and Daly City.
“Coast 2 Coast” fuses GRiZ’s forward-pushing bass production with Flowdan’s gritty, unmistakable flow, creating a fierce transatlantic collision of sound. Originally teased during GRiZ’s hiatus as a fan-favorite unreleased ID, the track gained momentum across the bass scene, receiving support from Subtronics, Tape B, Wooli, and Levity. What started as a track built around Flowdan’s sampled vocal evolved into an entirely original recording, featuring a brand-new topline written specifically for the official release.
The result is a festival-sized weapon blending grime’s raw energy with explosive bass design—another bold evolution in GRiZ’s ever-changing sound. To accompany the drop, a custom visual directed by Zach Okami (Isoknock, Bad Bunny) reimagines Flowdan’s performance with stylized flair and cinematic edge.
