Neustadt-Glewe, Germany – As the sun rose on Sunday morning, the final notes of AIRBEAT ONE Festival 2025 faded into the air, marking the end of four unforgettable nights and three high-energy days at Germany’s largest electronic music festival. More than 200,000 attendees from across Germany and over 50 countries came together to celebrate the 22nd edition of the event under this year’s vibrant theme: “Viva España.”
For the duration of the festival, the airfield became Mecklenburg-Vorpommern’s third-largest “city,” transforming into a pulsating playground of music and design. At its heart stood the breathtaking Mainstage, a 180-meter-wide and 45-meter-high masterpiece combining Gaudí’s iconic Sagrada Familia with the legendary Las Ventas bullring.
The theme carried through the entire festival site. A Spanish hacienda-inspired Terminal Stage, a Harder Stage crowned with a giant bull’s head, and six infield stages offered over 225 hours of music from 250 global and emerging electronic acts. Among the headliners: Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Alok, Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Oliver Heldens. Aoki, who also played a surprise “AFROKI” set with Afrojack, embraced the festival vibe by playing table tennis backstage with fellow artists.
Techno stars lit up both the Mainstage and Arena Stage, with sets from Boris Brejcha, Amelie Lens, Deborah De Luca, and Oliver Heldens’ HI-LO project. The Arena was packed for high-intensity performances by 999999999, I Hate Models, Basswell, Charlie Sparks, Lilly Palmer, Holy Priest, and Klangkuenstler.
The Terminal Stage was a celebration of German electronic talent and local heroes, featuring Le Shuuk, VIZE, Gestört aber GeiL, and Schwerin’s own KXXMA, alongside Spanish stars B-Jones and STBAN. Meanwhile, the VIP Camping Village’s Butterfly Stage offered nostalgia-filled sets by Da Hool, Quicksilver, Groove Coverage, and others, with the nightly “Mallorca Power Hour” adding a fun, party twist.
Fans of harder styles were treated to an electrifying lineup, including Angerfist, Da Tweekaz, Miss K8, Ran-D, Sub Zero Project, and genre-legend Brennan Heart, who made history by closing the Mainstage with a Hardstyle set on Friday night.
The Second Stage, presented by Indian Spirit Festival, was a haven for PsyTrance and Trance lovers alike, with Paul van Dyk debuting his new track “Power” to a rapt audience.
Saturday night peaked with a spectacular fireworks show in red and yellow and a final set from Armin van Buuren. The event welcomed not only international fans but also over 2,000 locals who joined Thursday’s free Opening Night tradition. Among the notable attendees was Manuela Schwesig, Minister-President of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, who visited on Saturday.
Operational improvements paid off again this year. Early check-in on Tuesday saw over 7,000 campers settled in ahead of time, with revamped camping zones and expanded pre-opening celebrations on Wednesday easing arrivals and amping up early excitement. No major traffic disruptions were reported.
The festival concluded on a high note with the reveal of AIRBEAT ONE 2026. Set to return from July 9 to 12, next year’s theme is “The Netherlands”—a fitting tribute to the birthplace of many of the world’s biggest DJs and a country synonymous with electronic music culture.
