Following the underground success of “Freek Like Me,” released in April to mark HEXAGON’s 10-year anniversary, Don Diablo is back with another club-ready release—this time on the legendary Sweat It Out label. His latest track, “The Devil Works Hard,” is a stripped-down, late-night collaboration with genre-blurring Australian producer Tseba, marking Don’s debut on the label known for shaping modern dance culture.
Driven by a hypnotic spoken-word hook—“The devil works hard, but the DJ works harder”—the track pulses with a rolling bassline, echoing the energy of UK garage and raw house music. It’s minimal yet impactful, rooted in the foundations of club music while pushing into new sonic territory. A staple in Don’s DJ sets over recent months, the track follows his recent collaboration with Nelly Furtado and continues his deeper evolution into underground dance aesthetics.
