His new single, “Amsterdam,” blends cinematic melodies with distorted vocal cuts, drum & bass production, and grime-inspired textures — a distinctive sound that perfectly aligns with the Canadian label’s forward-thinking roster.
The release arrives alongside the announcement of Don’s first hometown show in Amsterdam in over six years. Taking place September 19 at Paradiso, the intimate performance marks a return to his roots, contrasting his stadium-scale productions with a throwback club setting. This milestone follows a year of major achievements, from a standout collaboration with Nelly Furtado to his debut on Australian tastemaker label Sweat It Out, and the celebration of HEXAGON’s 10-year anniversary.
With upcoming festival appearances at Sziget, Untold, Medusa, and additional dates in Ibiza and Barcelona, Don’s 2024 schedule reflects his ongoing influence as one of dance music’s most innovative forces.
