Fresh off a standout run through Europe with shows at London’s Koko and Berlin’s Panorama Bar—plus festival highlights at Lightning in a Bottle and Movement Detroit—Claude VonStroke continues his Life of Leisure renaissance with a new sonic chapter. His latest release, “Noche Clara,” is an ethereal deep cut that expands his sound into melodic, moody territory not often explored under the VonStroke name.
Speaking about the inspiration, Claude shares:
“One night, we had a big storm. I couldn’t sleep so I walked outside after the rain had cleared all the dust and smoke out of the air. I could see tiny lights in the sky dancing around like little ghosts in the deep blue. This melody popped into my head the next morning.”
For more than two decades, Claude VonStroke has shaped underground dance culture and cultivated one of its most loyal communities. After selling the Dirtybird brand and taking a two-year break, he returns with a renewed perspective: playing only where he feels inspired and for those who value the originality of his craft.
His Life of Leisure rebrand isn’t about status—it’s about surrendering to the dance floor. In this new chapter, ravers are the heroes, and Claude simply guides the journey. Fear, stress, and anxiety are left at the door; what remains is music, energy, and connection. Each set is intentional, every moment sacred.
VonStroke has shed the weight of overachievement, choosing instead a reflective, grateful approach. Life of Leisure isn’t just a victory lap—it’s a reminder that even if reality can’t be escaped forever, a few hours on the dance floor can feel like freedom.
